I have been a lover of art and photography since I was a little girl growing up in the country and have always been fascinated with the beauty and play of light, color, and design in nature. For me, photography is like a meditation, I see things in nature that represents the spiritual or ethereal world. I don't often have to travel far for the magic of light can be displayed anywhere; it's my quest and honor to find it and capture its beauty, symbolism, or whimsy.

I have earned masters degrees in both Photography and Art from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and Goddard College in Vermont, and have exhibited my work in galleries in and around Kansas City, Los Angeles, Kentucky, and Vermont.  

I have had my photos published in magazines such as Town & Country, American Art Review, and have had the privilege of creating a calendar and a series of greeting cards for Hallmark's Girlfriends line.
